BBL HEROic is the newest, fastest generation of Sciton's BroadBand Light platform. It delivers gentle, high-intensity pulses of visible light that target pigment and vascular concerns at the source — the melanin and hemoglobin driving brown spots, redness, and uneven tone.
It's the closest thing we have to hitting 'undo' on years of sun exposure. And because HEROic covers larger areas faster, we can treat the full face, neck, chest, and backs of hands comfortably in a single visit.
BBL HEROic is often paired with HALO TRIBRID for texture in the same visit — a combination sometimes called 'BBL + HALO' or the BBL/HALO combo.

Consultation
Skin-type assessment (Fitzpatrick), goals, and honest recommendations.
Prep
Strict sun avoidance for 2–4 weeks before treatment. Pause retinoids per instructions.
Before
Photos, cleanse, and protective eyewear. A cool gel is applied to the skin.
During
Rapid pulses of light — most patients describe it as a warm rubber-band snap. A full face takes ~15–30 minutes.
After
Mild warmth and pinkness for a few hours. Brown spots often darken to a 'coffee-ground' appearance for 3–7 days, then flake off.
Results
Clearer, more even tone visible within 1–2 weeks. Most patients benefit from a series of 3 treatments spaced ~4 weeks apart, with maintenance annually.
